A pretty good drawing lately in my opinion. I've been terribly busy with my job lately. I can hardly come up to color the sketches I've made, which is why I upload them before I finish the actual work.
Here's Sally Acorn in a drawing that most likely refers to her sacrifice in Issue 230. I'm sure people are sick of it already. "Ooh, Sally is a robot which makes her a Mary Sue!" "Ooh, how dare you, Flynn!"
Sally made up to the times she wasn't able to help. For once, she did something that made up for the time her mental instability made her do things she didn't want to do (like slap Sonic). She made it all up to everyone by saving everyone and even though she's not real I still hope she gets at least a slice of the cake for giving up her own life to save yours (referring to your fancharacters, who, without Sally's help, would be mindless robots now.)
I don't know what to believe anymore. "Flynn hates SatAM and kills them one by one." Antoine is in a coma. Bunnie is on her own. Max is dying. Geoffery is suffering. Sally is gone. "Flynn makes the comics more interesting." Sally was bland lately. Flynn fixed her story up, made her more interesting and yet still everyone hates her.
I've actually heard a rumour that the weaponized Mecha Sally is actually a redesign of Sally and once Sally is restored, she'll join the games. I truly enjoy the idea as Amy was the bland character in the games and she needs competition or just needs to go away. I'd love to see Sally and Amy as friends though. It'd rock the earth, make it softer, make space for something new. Sally is a great role model for children and I hope SEGA is making the right decision in adding her to the games and I hope she will be useful and I hope Sally fans won't go "IN YOUR FACE!" on Amy fans. It'd just cause more whining.
Originally it had the silhouettes of Amy, Tails and Sonic in the background, but I took them out as I didn't do a full body drawing of Sonic yet that I liked which I could use and I'm not sure if people are sick of the "Sally sacrifice" artwork, so I made it less obvious that this is one.
"... Sally ..." is Nicole's AI mourning Sally as she was responsible for Sally's sacrifice in the first place and she was with her. She witnessed it. Witnessed her friend passing, changing. Oh, the terrible things everyone needs to go through.
The title is a reference to what made tons of people call her a Mary Sue. The fact that she sung to a Flicky (bird) to talk to it. I think it makes perfect sense for me. It wasn't sure if the Flicky understood Amy at all in Sonic Adventure 1 and Sally is basically a Flicky herself, so it just makes sense that she can talk to one. Sally was often stated as a Flicky friend, so she's spent a lot of time with Flickies and thus, can talk to them.

I know how you feel about how Flynn completely butchering the series. Sally just did not look right being essentially their equivalent of the Heavy Weapons Guy. And don't forget other stuff happening, such as what happened to Mina, and how Nicole gets treated like a traitor, even though it was apparent that she was being mind-controlled. I still like the series though, but not as much due to this stuff happening. I understand what you mean by it though.
Also, you might wanna check out my one Deviant Art friend, GameBoySage. He's sort of a Sonic fan, and he also agrees with what Flynn's doing is really making it go downhill. GameBoySage also expresses it in similar ways too, like in these artworks of his.
